The School of Rock House Band music program gives students under 18 the opportunity to join a gigging band composed of fellow musicians from their school. These students perform additional live shows throughout the year. All students in the Performance Program have the opportunity to audition for a spot in School of Rock House Band. Once selected, House Band members become leaders in their School of Rock community and perform live shows at CT rock venues throughout the year. Mind the Gap are based out of New Canaan and have been playing around Fairfield County and New York since 2014. They are one of the most entertaining party bands in CT, and two - time winners of the prestigious Gates Restaurant Battle of the Bands competition in New Canaan - in both 2023 and 2019.
