Donation Request?

314 Beer Garden is committed to supporting nonprofit organizations within our community. Our goal is to creatively find ways to collaborate with each cause, doing our best to support as many of the inquiries as we can. But due to the nature of being a small business, combined with the vast amount of requests that we receive, we must be selective.

Below are the requirements that must be met in order to be considered for a donation.

• Your group, organization, or event must be located within Connecticut, preferably within Fairfield County. We are only able to consider donation requests from nonprofit organizations. Please note, we do not provide donations to:
  • National organizations unless the event is local or regional in focus
  • Legislative advocacy groups, endowment funds, or annual fund drives
  • Fraternal, political, or labor organizations
  • Individuals or personal fundraising efforts

  
  Of those we do consider, preference is given to requests that:

  • Serve or benefit communities within our local area
  • Support underserved populations or address a meaningful community need
  • Foster lasting partnerships or create a positive, mutual impact
  • Encourage community engagement or volunteerism through your organization’s own efforts

  If your request aligns with the above and meets our requirements, we look forward to learning more about how we can support your cause.

• You must provide a current 501(c)(3) designation number and letter.
• All requests must be made at least one month from the date of the event. Any request made with less than one month before the event may be declined.
• Organizations may only receive one donation per year from 314 Beer Garden.
• All requests must be submitted through our website portal. Any letters, emails or phone calls will be directed to fill out the form below.
• We ask that your organization please provide a volunteer to pick up any donations at 314 Beer Garden.
• We reserve the right to accept or deny any donation request. Due to the high volume of requests and our limited resources as a small business, even applications that meet all criteria may not always be approved. Thank you for your understanding and for considering 314 Beer Garden as a partner for your event.

Please note:

• Donation and sponsorship considerations are limited only to nonprofit organizations.
• We are unable to provide funding to national organizations unless the request is centered on a local or regional event.
• Requests from legislative advocacy groups, endowment funds, multiple-year pledge campaigns, annual fund drives, fraternal, political, or labor organizations, as well as individuals or individual endeavors, will not be considered.

When to Expect a Response

Once your complete request has been submitted through our online form, please allow up to 45 days for us to review and respond. We appreciate your patience as we thoughtfully consider each application.
