The Low Darts are a classic rock cover band that emerged from the pandemic in June 2020 comprised of recent Fairfield Warde High School graduates who currently attend college between UConn, MTSU, Vanderbilt & Johns Hopkins/Peabody. The members, aged 21-23, have garnered a large national and worldwide YouTube following of almost 45,000 subscribers from their precise basement covers of classic 70s tunes. Led by Colman Connolly on vocals/keys, the band features Jonas Brown on lead guitar, Luke Foote on bass, Sean Byington on drums, Sebastian Rodriguez on keys, Sasha Suvorova on vocals, Bobby Master on tenor saxophone, and Kevin Tzanetis on trumpet. Cee Songbird is a dynamic mezzo-soprano from Harlem and The Bronx, whose career began with a CBS documentary at age eight and a debut at the Apollo Theater at 17. She blends soul, R&B, and her NYC roots into a unique sound, performing both original music and with various bands. Guitarist Bob Riccio brings over 30 years of teaching and performance experience, with a career spanning jazz, pop, ethnic, and theatrical music. He’s also a skilled composer, arranger, and producer for a wide range of media. Keyboardist Greg Detroy, rooted in Baptist gospel traditions, is a staple of the Connecticut music scene. He fuses jazz, blues, and soul influences and leads the New Orleans-inspired band, Nola Beatniks.
