The School of Rock New Canaan House Band music program gives students under 18 the opportunity to join a gigging band composed of fellow musicians from their school. These students perform additional live shows throughout the year. All students in the Performance Program have the opportunity to audition for a spot in School of Rock New Canaan's House Band. Once selected, House Band members become leaders in their School of Rock community and perform live shows at CT rock venues throughout the year. A hard driving high energy blues band honoring the music pioneered by Muddy Waters The Mojomatics was formed by singer/harmonica player Manny Foglio, guitarist Bill Barrett and joined by their drummer, Scott Logan. Their 2006 CD, My Kind of Crazy, was chosen by the Connecticut Blues Society as the best independently released CD of 2006. In 2007, Dan Aykroyd's House of Blues Radio selected them as the Blues Breaker of the week and 8 songs from the CD were featured on Blues Ears Internet Radio and in constant rotation for a year.
