DESCRIPTION:ARCHIVES was originally formed in the late 90’s as a classic rock cover band playing bars and clubs in the Tri-State area. In 2000\, Archives was named the official Q104.3 House Band\, headlining several events sponsored by the popular radio station. Soon after\, the band endured some lineup changes and integrated more modern era cover songs before evolving into a popular Tool tribute band. Now\, the four original Archives members have reunited; Mike McEwan (vocals)\, Pete Milo (guitar); Wade Storey (bass) and Mike May (drums/keyboards). Rounding out the newly formed lineup are vocalist Aileen Santiago and drummer David Guarino who shares drumming duties with Mike. Once selected\, House Band members become leaders in their School of Rock community and perform live shows at CT rock venues throughout the year. \nPerformance is the core of School of Rock’s educational approach. Therefore\, we create additional opportunities for students to perform on stages throughout New Canaan and the rest of CT. The House Band music program allows each school’s most talented students the opportunity to join a band and play routinely in front of live audiences. Once a member\, students will gain real music experience associated with gigging musicians and will become leaders and mentors inside the School of Rock community.

DESCRIPTION:Orb Mellon is the founder/guitarist of the seminal 90’s indie rockers and Sony/Epic recording artists Dirt Merchants. \nOrb Mellon mines the raw energy of 20th Century American roots music\, particularly whiskey fueled house party delta blues. Influences like Bukka White and Junior Kimbrough\, Orb Mellon performs pure\, sonically aggressive\, and ever transforming original folk blues. Orb has performed extensively sharing the stage with David Johansen (NY Dolls)\, Daddy Long Legs\, Charlie Parr\, R.L.Boyce and Brownbird Rudy Relic. In 2018\, Orb Mellon was a feature performer at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. \nOrb Mellon has released 3 full length albums and 3 EPs and his work has been featured in regional\, national\, and international press and have been included in feature films and television shows such as FX’s “Justified\,” the feature films “Kill For Me\,”\, “True Blood\,” and “Extant” staring Halle Berry. Also CBS drama “The Good Wife\,” the BBC’s “The Intruders\,” and AT&T’s “Mr. Mercedes.”\n\nDave Robbins has been performing throughout New England with various Blues Bands for many years. DESCRIPTION:The Destiny Band was Billy Genuario’s full-time band from 1989-2000. Throughout the 90’s it was one of the busiest and most sought after bands in the Tri-State area. \nAs few as 4\, or as many as 9 pieces\, Billy G and Friends play a wide range of music from the past 70 years with most of the original members from the Destiny Band joining Billy for these shows.
