In 2018\, Orb Mellon was a feature performer at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. \nOrb Mellon has released 3 full length albums and 3 EPs and his work has been featured in regional\, national\, and international press and have been included in feature films and television shows such as FX’s “Justified\,” the feature films “Kill For Me\,”\, “True Blood\,” and “Extant” staring Halle Berry. Also CBS drama “The Good Wife\,” the BBC’s “The Intruders\,” and AT&T’s “Mr. Mercedes.”\n\nDave Robbins has been performing throughout New England with various Blues Bands for many years. Dave is a Master Blues Harmonica Burner extraordinaire and Vocalist with New England’s Trad Blues King’s “The Incredible Amplifires'”. And finally\, Brien\, a dynamic and explosive drummer\, provided the driving force behind the band’s rhythm. \nHailing from different corners of Connecticut\, their paths converged in the vibrant music scene of lower Fairfield county. They met through chance encounters at local gigs\, where their mutual admiration for each other’s talent sparked the idea of forming a band that would push the boundaries of rock music. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn their small\, cluttered practice space\, located in the heart of Wilton\, they began crafting their sound. The Elastic Edge sought to infuse their music with the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll legends of the past\, while simultaneously creating a fresh and modern sound. Drawing inspiration from their collective experiences and the diverse music they grew up listening to\, they embarked on a musical journey to redefine the rock genre.
